Get to know a ‘little’, you want to tell us about you and your blog?
My blog is all about my favorite experiences and things to do around the world. It’s a travel blog, but because I’m also an American living in Berlin I share a lot about my experience as an expat in Europe.
When did you start blogging and why?
I started blogging 4 years ago just before departing on a trip around the world. It was a way for me to practice web design but also to share my experiences for when I was on the road.
What advice would you give to anyone who wants to create a personal blog?
My advice is to just do what you love. Blogging can take up a lot of time especially as your site grows and you start to get more into it. You have to love it to keep it going.
You do it by profession or is it just your passion?
It started out as my passion and I’ve kept it that way, though my current job in marketing for a new & independent European tour company has helped to stabilize my career.
What do you think your colleagues? Reccomend blogs / bloggers that you admire or more willingly.
Well, I’d be crazy not to recommend one of the blogs that I write for: London Food & Travel Tips on EatingLondonTours.co.uk. I love reading all sorts of travel blogs, though, so it’s too hard to pick a favorite.
Have you ever been in Italy and if so, what city did you visit?
I’ve been to Italy several times (read my travel blogs from Italy here) and I really love it. It’s one of my favorite European destinations that I keep returning to time and time again. I’d say my favorite city is Rome but I also haven’t ever been further south than there. I hope to visit Milan on an upcoming trip to Italy.
